Here are a few frequently asked questions we receive regarding our appliance removal service.

You have several options for getting rid of items such as dishwashers. These include taking them to your local recycling centre. However, sometimes there are fees and restrictions applied and these can vary from location to location. Then there’s the ordeal of having to get large items in and out of your vehicle. The easiest way to achieve a seamless appliance collection is with Clearabee, leave the heavy lifting to us.
Your appliances can be collected from either inside or outside your property. Opting for outside collection means you don’t need to be present when we arrive, as long as our waste operatives can access the items.

If you’ve ever been landed with a broken appliance and thought to yourself “can I throw a kettle in a bin?” The answer is typically no you can’t. This leads to appliances being one of the more troublesome types of waste to get rid of. If you book a Clearabee appliance collection but feel like it’s a waste just to collect an old kettle, remember we can take away a range of different types of waste away. You could easily form a decent load size with that old broken lawnmower in the shed, those old toys in the loft and that armchair that has been looking a bit decrepit of late.
Once you have booked a collection we will send you an email confirming the date you have chosen. On the day of your collection, we will send you a text to let you know the estimated time of our arrival.
As long as we have not yet begun our journey to collect your appliances, we can usually amend your order. Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to make changes.

How it works

Removing your old appliances is super easy with Evergreen Waste Company

Your collected appliances will be transferred to one of our approved Commercial Waste Transfer Stations and you will be sent a Waste Transfer Note.

This will record the location of your items, the vehicle used to remove them, and the total percentage that was recycled or diverted from landfill.
